Stepping Stones to Enrichment

The Lakeshore Excellence Foundation is excited to announce a program that has been specifically designed to promote excellence among students enrolled in Lakeshore Public Schools.

Stepping Stones to Enrichment is a new program that will open up a world of possibilities for students with demonstrated, outstanding achievements or extraordinary improvements in a given field, including academics, athletics, the arts, community service, or vocational skills.

Stepping Stones to Enrichment will enable students to apply for a sponsorship to help offset the cost of a program or workshop they may wish to attend. Stepping Stones to Enrichment sponsorships will be issued twice each year.

Application deadlines are scheduled April 1 and November 1 of each year.

Elementary Application

Middle/High School Application

Stepping Stones to Enrichment award recipients will be notified in writing and payments will be made directly to the applicant’s desired program. Awards will not be retroactive and must be used within the year of the award. Photos will be taken for promotional purposes and recipients will be recognized in the local press, the Lakeshore Light, and various LEF publications.

Stepping Stones to Enrichment is for all Lakeshore students – elementary, middle school, and high school. Lakeshore students, Reach Higher! Explore this exciting new opportunity. Pick up an informational brochure and application at any one of the Lakeshore Public School offices, or you may download and print the appropriate application from the LEF website (L-E-F.org).
