Mission Statement
It shall be the mission of the Lakeshore
Excellence Foundation to acquire
and distribute resources in support
of the Lakeshore Public School for the
programs and projects aimed
at enhancing, enriching or supplementing
learning opportunities for students,
staff, and community.
The Lakeshore Excellence Foundation exists
to enhance student development through unique educational opportunities;
to encourage faculty and staff creativity and excellence; to develop
partnerships between Lakeshore Schools and the community; and to promote
the Lakeshore School District as a center for community learning.
The purpose of the Lakeshore Excellence Foundation
is to acquire and distribute resources for programs and projects that
enrich, supplement or augment unique learning opportunities for students,
staff and the Lakeshore Public School community. The Lakeshore Excellence
Foundation is an independent, 501(c)(3) organization.
Volunteerism is actively encouraged and greatly appreciated
in all foundation activities. Contact any board member today to become involved!
The Foundation will achieve its mission by directing support toward
the following goals:
I.) To promote student development.
A. Provide resources for additional educational enrichment activities.
B.
Provide resources for unique students learning needs
C. Extend
opportunities for a quality education for students
II.) To encourage employee creativity and excellence.
A. Support unique staff development opportunities for all employees
B.
Provide resources for innovative ideas and unique programs.
III.) To encourage school/community partnerships.
A. Promote community awareness about the Foundation and educational
programs of the School District.
B. Provide a vehicle for individuals
and organizations to contribute resources to enhance learning.
C. Provide an organization to facilitate
cooperative ventures among the Foundation, community organization,
business and industry.
D. To
collaborate with other educational entities in expanding and enhancing
learning opportunities.
E. Promote understanding and cooperation
throughout the School District and community.
IV.) To promote the School District as a center for community learning.
